Basic Stance on Corporate Governance
Our company aims to solve medical challenges and create new medical solutions that enable people to enjoy lifelong health, both physically and mentally. To achieve this, we are promoting research and development and business expansion utilizing diverse modalities, including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and AI-powered programmed medical devices.
We prioritize rapid decision-making in response to changes in the business environment, and are working to improve management efficiency while also developing a corporate governance system that contributes to continuous business development and sustainable enhancement of corporate value. In particular, we believe that developing internal systems is a crucial element of corporate governance in order to disclose fair management information to stakeholders while ensuring its appropriateness.
We are working to further enhance our corporate governance with the aim of ensuring sound management, transparency, and thorough compliance by developing and operating an internal control system.
Outline of Corporate Governance System and Reasons for Adoption of the System
In addition to the General Meeting of Shareholders and the Board Meeting, the Company has established a Board of Corporate Auditors in accordance with the Companies Act. Considering the current scale of our business, we have adopted this system as we believe that it is effective as a management monitoring function and appropriate from the viewpoint of business execution.
